Sex: Absence and presence


I love this project, although when pressed, I have trouble elucidating why exactly.
(I assume that's because it's something postmodern, which the book seems to explain as being "not something else" and also "defying fixed meaning." If I'm reading p. 170-1 correctly, anyway.)

  1. Beautiful piece. But why? Aesthetics? Conceptual underpinnings? The narrative expressed? In your opinion, is this a commentary on the culture of sex, of prostitution, of repression, of...?
